The Buraidah Summer Festival, a key component of the Qassim Summer Season, is set to commence on June 25 at King Abdullah National Park. Running for 60 consecutive days, the festival promises over 100 entertainment, cultural, and tourism activities designed to cater to all age groups, offering a diverse range of experiences for visitors.
Festival Highlights and Activities
Attendees can look forward to a variety of attractions, including dedicated restaurant and cafe zones, booths for families engaged in the cottage industry, youth-led entrepreneurial projects, games, live entertainment, interactive programs, and daily competitions. Special areas will be allocated for children and youth, ensuring options for every segment of society.
Economic and Social Impact
Ahmed Al-Yahya, the festival's executive director, announced that the event will generate more than 500 seasonal job opportunities for young men and women in organizational, operational, and service capacities. Additionally, the festival will support cottage-industry families, small businesses, and entrepreneurs, thereby enhancing its economic and social impact while promoting community engagement.
