The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, known as KSrelief, has distributed 300 food baskets to host-community members and needy individuals in the municipality of Dougoufry, located in Mali's Segou Region. This initiative benefited 1,800 people and is part of the center's 2026 food aid project in Mali. It is one of several relief and humanitarian efforts that Saudi Arabia is carrying out through KSrelief to support the Malian people and alleviate their suffering.
Prosthetics and Rehabilitation in Yemen
In a separate development, nearly 500 individuals in Yemen benefited from services provided by the prosthetics and rehabilitation center project in Marib governorate during May. The project, backed by KSrelief, delivered a total of 1,559 services over the month. Among the patients, 67 percent were male, and 80 percent were internally displaced persons rather than local residents.
Services Provided
The services included the manufacturing, fitting, and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, as well as physical therapy and specialized consultations. This project is part of the humanitarian initiatives offered by Saudi Arabia to strengthen the healthcare sector and help ease the suffering of the Yemeni people.
