MoU Signed to Develop Nonprofit Leadership Track

Officials from the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation and the University of New Haven signed a memorandum of understanding in Riyadh on June 28, 2026, to establish one of Saudi Arabia's first specialized academic tracks in nonprofit leadership. The agreement, announced by the Saudi Press Agency, also includes scholarships for outstanding Saudi students, aiming to develop national talent and support the growth of the nonprofit sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Program Details and Curriculum

Under the MoU, the two parties will develop a specialized bachelor's track in nonprofit leadership and humanitarian work. This track is expected to be offered as part of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program at the University of New Haven – Riyadh campus. The program is designed to become one of the Kingdom's first specialized academic tracks in this field, equipping students with skills to lead humanitarian initiatives effectively.

Scholarships and Talent Development

The agreement provides scholarships for outstanding Saudi students, funded by the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation in coordination with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity. According to the Saudi Press Agency, this initiative aims to nurture national talent and bolster the nonprofit sector's capacity to contribute to Vision 2030 goals.
