Riphah International University Unveils Innovation & Wellness Fest 2026 in Lahore
Riphah International University's Gulberg Campus in Lahore has officially launched its flagship Innovation & Wellness Fest 2026, a comprehensive seven-day event designed to foster stronger ties between academia and industry while simultaneously promoting community health and empowering young entrepreneurs. Organized under the guidance of Muhammad Umer Farooq, the Regional Director of Riphah International University Lahore, this festival serves as a dynamic platform uniting students, academics, industry leaders, healthcare professionals, and community organizations. The primary goal is to transform academic learning into tangible innovation and meaningful social impact.
Inauguration and Visionary Address
The festival was inaugurated by DG NCHD Ali Asghar and Chancellor Riphah International University Hassan Muhammad Khan. In his inaugural speech, Chancellor Khan emphasized that this initiative is strategically crafted to bridge the gap between theoretical education and practical application. He stressed that universities must evolve beyond merely awarding degrees and actively contribute to societal development. "Integrated linkages between education, healthcare, and industry are essential for sustainable national development," he stated, highlighting Riphah's commitment to ethical leadership, social responsibility, and robust community engagement.

- Free medical camps offering diagnostic services

- Physical therapy assessments
These services are provided in collaboration with Chughtai Labs, Alkhidmat Foundation, and Alkhidmat Mobile Dispensary, extending healthcare access to the broader community beyond the campus. Additionally, the festival introduces "Work Village," a new business and innovation unit dedicated to supporting startups, freelancers, and student entrepreneurs, further enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
