Ariana Grande Kicks Off Eternal Sunshine Tour with Sold-Out Oakland Show
Ariana Grande Launches Eternal Sunshine Tour in Oakland

Ariana Grande has officially returned to the concert stage, launching THE ETERNAL SUNSHINE TOUR with a sold-out opening night performance at Oakland Arena in California on June 6, 2026. The show marked her first full concert tour in more than six years, concluding a lengthy absence from large-scale live performances and giving fans their first opportunity to hear much of her recent material performed live.

Setlist Highlights

The Grammy-winning singer built the concert around her chart-topping album Eternal Sunshine, originally released in March 2024 and later expanded with a deluxe edition in 2025. Of the 23 songs performed during the opening night set, 11 came from the album, confirming that the project remains the centerpiece of this new era in her career. Grande opened the evening with “Yes, And?” before moving through fan favorites including “Positions”, “The Boy Is Mine”, “Thank U, Next”, “7 Rings”, “One Last Time”, “Break Free”, “Dangerous Woman”, and “Into You”. The set also featured newer tracks such as “Dandelion”, “Warm”, “Twilight Zone”, “Past Life”, and “Supernatural”.

Exclusive Preview of New Album

One of the night’s most notable moments came with the live performance of “Hate That I Made You Love Me”, the lead single from Grande’s upcoming album Petal. The record is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, making the Oakland audience among the first to hear material connected to the project in a live setting.

Production and Visual Storytelling

The production combined music with cinematic storytelling. Video interludes portrayed Grande in a narrative inspired by the themes of memory and loss explored throughout Eternal Sunshine. The visual sequences followed a character navigating memory erasure and self-reflection, helping connect different sections of the concert while allowing for costume changes. As the show progressed, Grande shifted from large-scale dance numbers to more intimate solo performances. The singer frequently used an extended runway leading to a secondary stage, allowing her to interact more closely with fans throughout the arena. During the finale, “Supernatural”, she was lifted above the crowd within a futuristic lighting structure as the concert reached its climax.

Tour Schedule

THE ETERNAL SUNSHINE TOUR is scheduled to continue across North America throughout the summer before moving to London for a 10-night residency at The O2. Stops include Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, Montreal, and Chicago.
