Bushra Ansari's Husband Slams Society for Judging Her Marrying Younger Man
Bushra Ansari's Husband Criticizes Society Over Age Gap Marriage

Iqbal Hussain, the husband of renowned Pakistani actor Bushra Ansari, trended this week after he publicly criticized society for judging his wife for marrying a younger man. The actor and director appeared on a morning show to share his views on what he described as hypocritical standards surrounding marriage in Pakistan, particularly addressing the backlash his wife faced for marrying a younger partner.

Hussain's Remarks on Hypocrisy

“If a man marries an 18-year-old girl, everyone is okay with it, but the second she marries someone younger than her, society shames her,” Hussain said. He highlighted the double standards prevalent in Pakistani society, where age gaps are accepted for men but criticized for women.

Personal Experience

Discussing the couple’s own experience, Hussain noted that although there is a small age gap, it has not affected their relationship. “There is a small age gap but it has not affected me personally. Rather, society goes to shame the woman regardless of her status, even being Bushra Ansari, she has to worry about it.” He added, “This is the dilemma in the society, the judgement they make day and night. I think the direction of society is going in a way where we all judge each other but on the Day of Judgement, it will all come back to us.”

Public Reaction

Many fans took to the comments to praise Hussain’s remarks and his support for his wife. The couple, who have both been married previously, revealed their marriage in 2024.
