Historic First Meeting of KP Cabinet Under New Leadership

Several key transportation and security matters are up for discussion, including the approval of 25 government vehicles for district session judges and consideration of a bulletproof vehicle for a bench of the Peshawar High Court. The agenda also proposes lifting the ban on VIP vehicle purchases for the Governor.
Economic and Agricultural Initiatives Take Center Stage
Economic development features prominently in the meeting's agenda, with a recommendation to increase toll plaza taxes on the Swat Expressway by 20 percent. This move aims to generate additional revenue for provincial development projects.
In the agricultural sector, the cabinet is expected to formally approve the "One Farmer, One Cow" initiative, a program designed to boost agriculture and strengthen the rural economy. This initiative represents the government's focus on supporting the agricultural backbone of the province.
Rehabilitation efforts for affected communities will also be addressed, with special funds expected to be approved for the rehabilitation of communities in Tirah and North Waziristan. This decision aims to expedite recovery efforts in these regions.
