ISLAMABAD – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will attend the 4th Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the R-4 Group of Countries, at the invitation of Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty, scheduled for June 21 in Cairo, Egypt.
R-4 Meeting Agenda
The meeting will bring together the foreign ministers of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan to discuss regional developments and exchange views on issues related to peace, security, and stability. Building on the outcomes of previous R-4 meetings, the ministers will also explore ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of shared interest, according to a press release from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.
Bilateral Consultations
During his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Dar will hold bilateral consultations with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty and will also call on President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The discussions will focus on deepening Pakistan-Egypt bilateral cooperation across diverse fields and exchanging views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.
Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye, and this meeting underscores its commitment to multilateral dialogue and regional stability.
