ISLAMABAD: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon held a meeting with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad, where they discussed a wide range of critical issues. The agenda included national law and order, inter-provincial cooperation, eradication of narcotics, and improvement of public services. Detailed discussions were also held on measures to curb drug trafficking and strengthen law and order in major cities of Sindh, including Karachi.
Federal Interior Minister Commends Sindh Police
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the Sindh government on successful operations against dacoits and criminal elements in riverine areas. He praised the Sindh Police for their bravery, professionalism, and determination in restoring law and order under challenging circumstances. Naqvi assured that the federal government would provide all possible support for maintaining law and order and combating narcotics.
Emphasis on Inter-Provincial Coordination
Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized that effective coordination and cooperation between the federation and provinces is the most effective way to address national challenges. He stressed that all institutions and governments must work together on matters of national importance. Memon added that the Sindh government would intensify efforts to eliminate crime, strengthen law and order, and ensure citizen protection.
Both ministers agreed that stronger cooperation and coordination between federal and Sindh governments would help address public issues more effectively and promote better governance and service delivery.
