Police in Rawalpindi have arrested three suspects belonging to two separate gangs allegedly involved in street crime, recovering four stolen motorcycles, two mobile phones, and a weapon during the operations, authorities confirmed.
Dhamiyal Police Operation
According to a police spokesperson, the Dhamiyal Police team arrested two members of a gang and recovered two stolen motorcycles, a stolen mobile phone, and a weapon from their possession. The suspects were taken into custody during a targeted raid based on intelligence reports.
Banni Police Arrest
In a separate operation, Banni Police apprehended the alleged ringleader of another gang, recovering two stolen motorcycles and a stolen mobile phone. The police spokesperson stated that the suspects will be produced before the court with substantial evidence to ensure legal proceedings.
The arrests come as part of ongoing efforts to curb street crime in Rawalpindi. Police have urged citizens to report suspicious activities and cooperate with law enforcement to maintain public safety.
