IPP Announces 35 Candidates for AJK Elections

Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Central President Abdul Aleem Khan formally distributed party tickets to candidates for 35 constituencies in the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections during a high-level meeting on Saturday, according to a press release.

Key Candidates and Constituencies

Sardar Tanvir Ilyas, President of IPP Azad Jammu & Kashmir, is contesting from three constituencies: LA-15, LA-22, and LA-25. Other nominated candidates include Muhammad Maroof (LA-02), Tasleem Arif (LA-03), Taimoor Hassan (LA-04), Iftikhar Hussain (LA-05), and Ali Shan Soni (LA-06).

Further nominations include Zulfiqar Ali (LA-08), Tahir Fareed (LA-09), Muhammad Yousuf (LA-10), Muhammad Talib (LA-11), Sabiha Siddique (LA-12), Nisar Ansar (LA-13), and Raja Fahim Farooq (LA-14). For regional seats, the party has fielded Ejaz Ahmed (LA-16), Aamir Nazeer (LA-17), Mourtaza Ahmed (LA-18), Shahzad Aziz (LA-19), Bilal Shakeel (LA-21), Sardar Rais Inqilabi (LA-23), Sardar Inayatullah (LA-24), Sardar Tabarakullah (LA-27), Kausar Taqdees Gillani (LA-28), Saeed Awan (LA-29), Maqbool Gujjar (LA-30), and Raja Mazhar Qayyum (LA-31).

Refugee Constituency Candidates

For Jammu and Kashmir refugee constituencies based in Pakistan, the party has finalized candidates: Abdul Qadeer (LA-35), Adeeb Amjad Butt (LA-36), Muhammad Tahir Khokhar (LA-39), Saleem Butt (LA-40), Saeed Dar (LA-41), Bilal Butt (LA-42), and Hamza Bazmi (LA-43). Strategic nominations have also been completed for refugee seats allocated across Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Balochistan.
