Minister Ahsan Iqbal Addresses APPNA Convention in Orlando
Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday called upon overseas Pakistanis, especially healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors, to become active partners in the country's sustainable development, healthcare modernization, and economic transformation. Speaking at the 49th annual convention of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) in Orlando, Florida, during his official visit to the United States, the minister emphasized that the expertise, investment, and global experience of the diaspora are vital to advancing the government's URAAN Pakistan initiative.
URAAN Pakistan: A Vision for Transformation
Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that Pakistan's future depends on investing in human capital through education, healthcare, and population management. He stated that the URAAN Pakistan initiative aims to accelerate economic growth and improve the quality of life for all citizens. The minister urged overseas Pakistanis to contribute their skills and resources to help achieve these goals. He noted that the government is committed to creating an enabling environment for investment and innovation.
