BEIJING - China has announced a new round of humanitarian assistance to Iran and Lebanon, aimed at supporting reconstruction and improving livelihoods following recent regional conflicts. The announcement was made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian on Wednesday.
Background of the Aid
Responding to inquiries about continued Chinese support for Middle Eastern countries affected by US-Israel strikes on Iran, Lin Jian noted that China had already provided emergency humanitarian aid to Iran and other impacted nations in March this year. He emphasized that considering the current needs and circumstances of these countries, China has decided to deliver additional assistance to Iran and Lebanon in the near future.

The new aid package is designed to facilitate post-conflict recovery, reconstruction, and economic development. Lin Jian stated that as a responsible major country and a longstanding friend of Middle Eastern nations, China will continue to offer support within its capabilities.
