Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi paid rich tribute to Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed on his 27th martyrdom anniversary, emphasizing that his eternal sacrifice remains a golden chapter in the nation's history.
Governor's Tribute to a National Hero
In his statement, the governor highlighted that Captain Sher Khan Shaheed wrote a new chapter of courage during the Kargil conflict. He described the fallen officer as a brave son of the nation and a pride of the land.
Hashmi asserted that the nation will never forget the sacrifice of this great hero, who was awarded the Nishan-e-Haider, Pakistan's highest military gallantry award. "The martyrs of the Pakistan Army are the pride of our nation and the honour of the country," the governor said.
Prayers and Legacy
The governor also offered prayers for the elevation of the ranks of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed. He called on the nation to draw inspiration from the captain's bravery and dedication to the country.
Captain Karnal Sher Khan was martyred in 1999 during the Kargil conflict, where his actions led to the capture of key positions. He was posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Haider for his extraordinary valor.
