The Sindh government has imposed a ban on bringing mango crates inside the Secretariat buildings, citing security concerns and tightened entry protocols. Following approval from high officials, the entry of mangoes has been declared a “security risk,” leading to a prohibition on their entry into the Sindh Secretariat.

Official Notification Details

According to an official notification, mango boxes will not be allowed inside the Secretariat building, including Barrack A-4 and B-4. The directive instructs security personnel to strictly enforce the orders and prevent the entry of any mango cartons into the premises under all circumstances.

Compliance and Enforcement

The notification further states that security staff must ensure full compliance with the restriction within the Secretariat’s jurisdiction. Officials have stated that the measure has been taken as part of enhanced security protocols in government offices.
