IHC Launches Online Complaint System for Public Grievances
Islamabad High Court Starts Online Complaint Portal

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has taken a significant step towards enhancing public access to justice by launching a new digital complaint system. This initiative, introduced on Tuesday, aims to streamline the process for citizens to report grievances concerning court officers and staff.

Digital Channels for Swift Justice

In an official statement, the IHC Registrar's office announced the establishment of an online Complaint Redressal Mechanism. The primary goal is to facilitate litigants and the general public, allowing them to submit complaints with ease and without unnecessary delays. The court has activated dedicated channels for this purpose.

Citizens can now file their complaints through two main digital platforms:

  • Via official email: info@ihc.gov.pk
  • Via a dedicated WhatsApp number: 0313-6552827

Focus on Transparency and Accountability

The new system is specifically designed to address complaints related to the conduct of the court's officers and administrative staff. The IHC emphasized that this mechanism reflects its unwavering commitment to uphold the highest standards of discipline, transparency, and accountability.

"This mechanism reflects the Court’s resolve to maintain public trust and ensure that any allegation regarding the conduct of officers or staff is addressed promptly and fairly," the IHC stated. The move is part of the judiciary's broader efforts to overcome challenges in delivering timely justice.

Ensuring Public Awareness and Accessibility

To maximize the system's reach, the IHC plans to display the contact details prominently at various locations within the court premises. This measure ensures that visitors are aware of the new, accessible avenue for raising their concerns.

By embracing digital solutions, the Islamabad High Court intends to remove traditional barriers and foster a more responsive and transparent judicial environment for all citizens.
