Vehari - Member of the National Assembly Tehmina Daultana stated on Wednesday that the government highly values honest, hardworking, and competent bureaucratic officers, as they are the true guarantors of strong state institutions, effective public service, and national development. She expressed these views during a meeting with renowned Punjab bureaucrat and former Deputy Commissioner Vehari, Imrana Touqeer, and her husband, Malik Touqeer Ahmed.
Development Projects and Administrative Excellence
Tehmina Daultana remarked that numerous completed and ongoing development projects in Vehari stand as a testament to Imrana Touqeer's vision, administrative excellence, and people-friendly policies. She noted that during her tenure as Deputy Commissioner, Imrana Touqeer not only managed administrative affairs efficiently but also ensured prompt resolution of public issues, improved performance of government departments, and timely completion of development projects.

She further stated that Imrana Touqeer, through her professionalism, integrity, and exceptional leadership qualities, earned a special place in the hearts of the people of Vehari. “Officers of such caliber are a valuable national asset, and the government should make maximum use of their experience and capabilities to further strengthen public service delivery and good governance,” she added.
On the occasion, District President Pakistan Muslim League-N Vehari, Mian Imran Daultana, also paid tribute to the services of Imrana Touqeer and said that the people of Vehari would always remember her outstanding performance, public-friendly approach, and keen interest in development initiatives. The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere where matters of mutual interest, the overall national situation, and issues related to public welfare were discussed in detail.
