Mainly hot and dry weather is expected to prevail across most parts of the country over the next 12 hours, according to the latest weather forecast. However, upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan may experience partly cloudy conditions accompanied by rain, windstorms and thunderstorms at isolated locations.

The temperatures recorded in major cities on Saturday morning were 21 degrees Celsius in Islamabad, 27 degrees Celsius in Lahore, 30 degrees Celsius in Karachi, 23 degrees Celsius in Peshawar, 19 degrees Celsius in Quetta and Muzaffarabad, 13 degrees Celsius in Rawalakot, 15 degrees Celsius in Gilgit and 14 degrees Celsius in Murree.
