The Sindh government has officially announced timelines for the release of annual matriculation and intermediate examination results, directing all educational boards across the province to declare matric results by July 10 and intermediate results by July 31. This decision was made during a meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo, which was attended by Universities Secretary Muhammad Abbas Baloch and chairpersons of educational boards from various divisions of Sindh.
Meeting Highlights and Examination Updates
The meeting reviewed the conduct of annual matriculation and intermediate examinations across different divisions of Sindh. Board officials presented updates on examination arrangements and progress in their respective regions. Minister Rahoo emphasized that the timely announcement of results would greatly assist students in securing admissions to colleges and universities without unnecessary delays. He further stated that the government would continue to support efforts aimed at enhancing transparency, merit, and efficiency within the examination system.
Grade 9 and 11 Results Timeline
Officials informed the meeting that results for Grade 9 and Grade 11 examinations are expected to be announced by August 31. Additionally, it was reported that examination duties assigned to teams found to have shown no performance during the examination process in Sukkur division had been withdrawn. Universities Secretary Muhammad Abbas Baloch noted that several cases have been registered against individuals accused of violating Section 144 restrictions during examinations in Karachi.
Meanwhile, Karachi Educational Board Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho informed participants that intermediate examinations in the city are scheduled to conclude on June 15. The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the government's commitment to improving the examination system and ensuring timely result announcements for the benefit of students across the province.
