Peshawar - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident in which six innocent children lost their lives after the roof of a room collapsed in the Alpuri area of Shangla District. In his condolence statement, the minister said that the loss of innocent lives is an extremely heartbreaking tragedy and an irreparable loss for their parents and families. He said that the provincial government stands with the bereaved families in this difficult time and shares their grief.
Government Support for Affected Families
Shafi Jan extended his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the deceased children and also expressed his best wishes for the speedy recovery of the young girl who was injured in the incident. The minister further assured that every possible assistance would be provided to the affected families. He emphasized that the provincial administration is coordinating with local authorities to ensure timely medical care and support for the injured child.
Call for Safety Measures
The minister also urged relevant departments to investigate the cause of the roof collapse and take preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future. He reiterated the government's commitment to improving infrastructure safety, particularly in residential areas, to protect the lives of citizens, especially children.
