The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed on Friday that the South Africa Women's Under-19 team will make their inaugural tour of Pakistan this July, featuring in a five-match T20 series against the hosts.
Series Details
The series is scheduled to be held at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from July 14 to 24, with match timings to be announced later. The visiting squad is set to arrive on July 10 and will undergo training sessions at the venue from July 11 to 13 ahead of the opening match.
Pakistan's Recent Form
Pakistan's junior women's side last participated in a bilateral T20 series in Bangladesh, where they secured a 3-2 victory, reflecting their growing competitiveness at the international level.
Preparation for Global Events
The upcoming series is expected to serve as a crucial preparation platform for both teams ahead of major global assignments, including the ACC Women's U19 T20 Asia Cup later this year and the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup scheduled for early next year.
PCB Training Camps
To further strengthen readiness, the PCB has recently conducted multiple training camps in Karachi for its U19 women's cricketers, focusing on skill development and match preparedness ahead of a busy international calendar.
