In a series of targeted operations, Attock police have apprehended 19 outlaws, including 16 proclaimed offenders wanted in various serious cases. The arrests were made under different legal acts, and all suspects have been sent behind bars.

Proclaimed Offenders Arrested in Attock City

SHO Attock City police station Sajjad Haidar, leading his team, conducted multiple raids that led to the arrest of 16 proclaimed offenders. These individuals were wanted for crimes including murder, kidnapping for ransom, fraud, and cheque dishonour cases. The police operation was part of a broader effort to crack down on fugitives evading the law.

Drug Bust and Sexual Assault Cases

In a separate incident, Attock Khurd police arrested a rickshaw driver and recovered 10 kg of hashish from his vehicle. The narcotics were concealed in hidden cavities of the rickshaw, highlighting the driver's attempts to evade detection. Meanwhile, Bahtar police took into custody Ali Abbas and Zohaib, both residents of Parrian Bahtar, for sexually assaulting a teenage boy and filming the act. The arrests underscore the police's commitment to tackling both drug trafficking and heinous crimes against minors.
