Attock police have apprehended six individuals, including two real brothers, in connection with separate criminal incidents. The arrests were made across different police jurisdictions within the district, and all suspects have been booked under relevant legal provisions and remanded to custody.
Brothers Arrested for Murder Over Verbal Dispute
Fatehjang police arrested Zeeshan and Kamran, residents of Dhok Kanjan, for allegedly murdering a person from the same locality. According to police reports, the deceased had exchanged harsh words with the mother of the accused, which escalated into the fatal attack. The brothers are now facing murder charges and have been sent to jail.
Proclaimed Offenders Held in Cheque Dishonour Cases
In a separate operation, Hasanabdal police captured two proclaimed offenders, Riasat Ali and Amjad Javed, who were wanted in cheque dishonour cases. Both individuals had been evading arrest for an extended period before being taken into custody. Legal proceedings have been initiated against them under the relevant acts.
Cattle Theft Ring Busted by Bahtar Police
Bahtar police successfully arrested Shahid Ali and Noaman, residents of village Gakhar, for stealing two cows valued at Rs 1.6 million. The police recovered both stolen cows from the possession of the accused. The arrests were made following a tip-off and swift police action. The suspects have been charged with theft and are behind bars.
Senior police officials confirmed that all arrested individuals are being processed for legal action, and further investigations are underway to uncover any additional criminal links. The police have urged the public to report any suspicious activities to help maintain law and order in the district.
