Boy Killed in Speeding Car Crash in Lahore's Askari 10

A tragic road accident in Lahore's Askari 10 neighbourhood claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy and left two others injured. The incident occurred when a speeding car, allegedly racing with another vehicle, rammed into two motorcycles.

Details of the Incident

According to the First Information Report (FIR) registered at North Cantt police station under Section 322 of the Pakistan Penal Code, the crash took place on a local road. The complainant, Muhammad Imran Yaseen, reported that his nephew, Subhan, was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by his friend Ayan Babar. They were returning from a market when a car being driven at high speed struck their motorcycle.

The same car then crashed into another motorbike ridden by Abu Bakar. The impact threw all three victims onto the road. Security personnel present at the scene immediately called an ambulance and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals.

Casualties and Treatment

Subhan was taken to the Rangers Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Ayan and Abu Bakar are currently undergoing treatment for their injuries. The complainant urged the police to preserve CCTV footage from the locality to assist in the investigation.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances of the accident, including the alleged racing between the two vehicles.
