Danish Delegation Reviews Wastewater Plant in Faisalabad

A delegation from Denmark's Impact Fund Denmark (DANIDA) visited Faisalabad to review progress on the Eastern Wastewater Treatment Plant (EWTP), a major wastewater management project being implemented by the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Faisalabad. The project aims to improve wastewater treatment capacity and environmental conditions in the city.

Delegation Visit and Project Review

The delegation, comprising donor representatives Jacob and Stine, toured the site to assess the advancement of the mega wastewater treatment initiative. This project is expected to significantly reduce water pollution and enhance the quality of irrigation water for surrounding agricultural areas.
