Engineer Dr Badrul Islam officially assumed the role of chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on Saturday, marking the beginning of his tenure with an extensive tour of the board's various sections. Accompanied by Secretary Rizwan Nazir and Controller Examinations Tauseef-ur-Rehman, the newly appointed chairman inspected all departments to gain firsthand insight into the board's operations.
Initial Tour and Employee Interaction
During the tour, Dr Badrul Islam interacted with both students and employees, attentively listening to their concerns and grievances. He issued immediate directives to address the issues raised, emphasizing the need for prompt resolution. The chairman stressed that transparency must be the cornerstone of all board affairs, declaring that any negligence or laziness among staff would not be tolerated.

Dr Badrul Islam's remarks underscored his commitment to reforming the board's functioning. He made it clear that the board's operations would be conducted with utmost clarity and accountability. "All affairs of the board should be transparent," he stated, warning that laxity would lead to strict consequences. This stance signals a firm approach to governance as he takes the helm of one of Punjab's largest education boards.
