Gold Prices Rally Sharply in Local Market

The prices of gold witnessed a significant increase in the local market on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs9,100 to settle at Rs428,736, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs7,802 to Rs367,572, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed by Rs7,152 to Rs336,953.

International Gold Prices Also Rise

In the international market, the price of gold gained $91 to reach $4,063 per ounce, reflecting a strong upward trend in precious metals globally.

Silver Prices Follow Suit

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs203 to Rs6,445, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs174 to Rs5,525.

The price of silver in the international market also advanced by $2.03 to $59.66 per ounce, the association reported.
