Scholarships Awarded to IUB Students
Two students from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) have been awarded scholarships by foreign universities in China and Turkey for advanced level research, according to a press release issued by the IUB on Sunday.
Adeel Asghar, a student of the Department of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology at IUB, has received a 100 percent scholarship for higher education at Hebei University of Technology, China. Another student from the same department has been selected to join the Summer Research Program of Sabanci University, Turkey.
Supervision and Programme Details
Both students achieved these milestones under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Dileep Kumar of the Department of Electronics Engineering, as part of the Global Undergraduate Research Programme. This initiative aims to provide higher education opportunities at renowned international universities for IUB students.
