Incident Overview

Seven members of a family were hospitalized due to food poisoning in the Chitti Masjid area, Mailsi Road, Kahroor Pacca on Monday. According to Rescue 1122 officials, the family consumed leftover food late at night, after which they developed severe vomiting and fell ill.

Emergency Response

Two Rescue 1122 ambulances were dispatched to the scene following an emergency call. Rescue teams provided first aid at the spot and shifted all seven patients to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Kahroor Pacca for further treatment. The victims were identified as Allah Bakhsh (45), Ansar Bibi (42), Shahzad (40), Mumtaz Mai (40), Sughran Mai (35), Akmal (10), and Rubina Bibi (15).

Official Advisory

District Emergency Officer Engineer Shabab Aslam advised the public to avoid consuming stale or improperly stored food to prevent such incidents. He emphasized the importance of food safety, particularly in warm weather conditions that can accelerate bacterial growth. The hospital reported that all patients are in stable condition and receiving necessary medical care.
