KARACHI: Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, in his special message on the occasion of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) Day, described small and medium-sized businesses as the backbone of Pakistan’s economy. He said that the MSME sector plays a vital role in the country’s economic growth, employment generation, and export promotion.

The Governor Sindh stated that providing equal opportunities to youth, women, and aspiring entrepreneurs is essential for building a strong and self-reliant Pakistan. He emphasized that innovation, modern technology, and sustainable industrial development are indispensable for enabling MSMEs to compete effectively in the global marketplace.

Need for Finance and Training

He further said that easy access to finance, modern skills training, and a business-friendly environment are the need of the hour to help small and medium-sized enterprises grow and prosper.
