Shehar Sultan police on Monday successfully recovered a kidnapped youngster from Lahore, recovering Rs4.5 million in cash and an iPhone during a swift operation. The police team, led by SHO Inspector Sajid Sultan, traced the victim using modern technology and social media.

Details of the Operation

According to police officials, the operation was conducted on the direction of District Police Officer Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah. The kidnapped youth, identified as Talha Rashid, son of Rashid Iqbal, was located in Lahore through advanced tracking methods. Along with the safe recovery of the abductee, cash amounting to Rs4.5 million and an iPhone were seized and handed over to the family.

DPO Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah commended the police team for their prompt response and effective use of modern technology to trace the victim’s location. He also highlighted the close coordination with Lahore police, which ensured the safe recovery of the abductee and the recovered assets.
