Suspects Confess to Killing Quetta Businessman Over Jealousy

Three suspects arrested for the targeted killing of prominent Quetta entrepreneur Mohammad Hashim Noorzai have confessed to the murder, driven by professional jealousy and a bitter business rivalry, senior police officials confirmed.

The suspects, all residents of Satellite Town, were taken into custody three days ago in a secret operation. During intense interrogation, they broke down and admitted to orchestrating and carrying out the assassination, according to a senior police official. Victim Profile

Mohammad Hashim Noorzai was the owner of the well-known Kabul Jan Hotel on Airport Road and an active figure in Quetta's trading community. He was ambushed on the morning of June 27 near the Baleli Bypass while driving from Kuchlak to Quetta. Gunmen opened fire on his vehicle, killing him instantly.
