DC Sargodha Reviews Govt Properties for Revenue

Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Tuesday visited several government-owned properties across Sargodha to evaluate their potential for generating additional public revenue. According to a spokesperson for the DC office, the inspection team included Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Ahmed Haroon and Assistant Commissioner Ahmed Sher Gondal.

Properties Inspected

The delegation inspected Mela Mandi Ground, the government-owned Radio Station building on Club Road, and the former wheat storage warehouse located beneath the old bridge. Officials from the relevant departments briefed the DC on the current status and utilization of each site.

Focus on Revenue Enhancement

During the visit, the deputy commissioner reviewed possibilities for the effective use, protection, and commercial utilization of government land and buildings. This initiative aligns with the Punjab government’s revenue enhancement strategy. He directed the concerned departments to prepare a comprehensive record of all government assets and develop practical proposals to utilize these properties for public benefit while ensuring compliance with government policies.
