Hadramout Governor Salem Al-Khanbashi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, commended Saudi Arabia's humanitarian and development contributions in Yemen. He noted that Saudi projects have alleviated the suffering of Yemenis and improved services across multiple sectors.
KSrelief Housing Project in Mayfa'a
Al-Khanbashi was briefed on the progress of the KSrelief project to construct 114 houses in the Mayfa'a area. The project aims to provide shelter for displaced families and contribute to stability in the region.
Agricultural Support and Food Security
He also reviewed preparations for a project to support farmers and strengthen the food-security initiative in Hadramout and Socotra. The scheme intends to increase agricultural production and enhance the livelihoods of beneficiary families.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Khanbashi expressed the readiness of the local authority in Hadramout to provide all necessary facilitation to ensure the success of the center's humanitarian and development projects.
