Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has declared one more 11 KV feeder exempt from load shedding, bringing the total number of such feeders to 66. The announcement was made by Chief Executive Officer Faizullah Dahiri at a ceremony in Kori, Jamshoro district, where the 11 KV City 6 Feeder was added to the zero load shedding list.

Details of the New Feeder

According to HESCO spokesperson Sadiq Kubar, the newly exempted feeder is supplied with electricity from the 132 KV Sehwan grid station. The feeder provides electricity to 575 consumers through 36 pole-mounted transformers. Among the consumers, there are 55 commercial, 19 industrial, and one agricultural connection.

Impact on Consumers

Kubar stated that the exemption from load shedding will ensure uninterrupted power supply to these consumers, benefiting local businesses and industries. The move is part of HESCO's ongoing efforts to improve electricity supply and reduce outages in the region.
