The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a substantial reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for July 2026, lowering costs for both household and commercial consumers across Pakistan.
Price Reduction Details
According to the regulator's latest notification, the official LPG price has been reduced by Rs67.33 per kilogram, bringing the revised rate to Rs241.43 per kg. The price of a standard 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has also been slashed by Rs794.05, setting the new retail price at Rs2,848.91.
OGRA said the revised pricing structure will take effect from July 1, 2026, and remain in force throughout the month.
Impact on Consumers
The price cut is expected to ease the financial burden on households that depend on LPG for cooking and heating, especially in areas with limited or no access to natural gas. Businesses using LPG as a primary fuel are also likely to benefit from reduced operating expenses.
This reduction comes as part of OGRA's monthly review mechanism, which adjusts prices based on international market trends and domestic supply factors.
