District Council Attock has officially released a list of fake, bogus, and unregistered housing societies operating in the district, warning citizens to exercise caution before investing in real estate projects. According to details shared by the council, 32 housing schemes have been declared fake or bogus as they do not exist on the ground and lack legal approval. The council has advised the public to avoid any financial dealings, booking, or investment in these societies to protect themselves from fraud and financial loss.
List of Non-Existent Societies
The fake and bogus societies declared non-existent include Alburhan, Sanjwal Green, and Uzma Green in Tehsil Attock; Pak Green City, World RCCI City, Rehbar Builders, and Ideal Enclave in Tehsil Hasanabdal; and Zargoon Eco City, Alnoor City/New Chitral, Sun Enclave, The Meadows, Alrehman Gardens, Education City, Air City, Galaxy City, Swan Garden, Asad Town, Paradise Agro Farms, Mustafa Gardens, Hill View Housing Scheme, Ali Town, ZCO Developers, and Cape Town, all in Tehsil Fatehjang.
Unregistered Housing Schemes Identified
Separately, the council also identified multiple unregistered or illegal housing schemes. These include Gilani Town, Hadi Town, and Sikandar City in Tehsil Jand; New City Phase II, Multi Archard, Khyber City AWC Housing, Wah Model Extension, Khyber City Executive, Wah Township, NDC Welfare, NEST City, Kohistan Enclave, and Shaheen Enclave in Tehsil Hasanabdal; Samhan Housing and Kamra Model Town in Tehsil Attock; Jatial Town and Smart Archard in Tehsil Hazro; Committee Garden, Hashmi Residentia, Almeezan Villa, Risala Agro, Khaur Model, and New City in Pindigheb; and Elegant Enclave, Grace Land Phase II, Spring Field, National Housing, Wonder City, Silk Town, Tulip Enclave, Newyork Enclave, Habib Residentia, Sultan City, Blue World City, Arezon City, Faisal Town Phase II, Mayfair Housing, Hiland Housing, Gulzar Sir Syed, Daniyal Town, Green City, Madina Garden, Canadian Residentia, Capital Smart City II, Motorway City, and Baba Farid Housing in Tehsil Fatehjang.
Purpose of the List
District Council officials said the purpose of publishing the list is public awareness and consumer protection. They advised citizens to verify the No Objection Certificate (NOC) and approval status of any housing scheme from District Council Attock and relevant authorities before making payments or booking plots. Real estate investment should always be based on verified legal documents. Fake societies not only cause financial loss but also create legal complications for buyers later, a council spokesperson stated.
Action Against Illegal Promoters
The administration has urged the public to report any suspicious activity or illegal marketing by these schemes to the District Council office. Officials added that action against promoters of illegal and fake housing schemes will continue in line with provincial regulations to safeguard public interest and maintain transparency in the housing sector.
