Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) administration has announced that restoration work on the city's electricity supply is progressing rapidly, and power is expected to be fully restored shortly. According to officials, repair work on feeders and power lines damaged by the recent storm has entered its final stages.
Emergency Restoration Efforts
HESCO teams are actively present in the field, working on an emergency basis to restore electricity in the affected areas. The company has mobilized all available resources to expedite the process and minimize inconvenience to consumers.
Appeal for Public Cooperation
HESCO authorities have appealed to citizens to cooperate with field teams and take necessary safety precautions during the restoration process. They have also advised people to stay away from damaged power lines and report any hazards to the nearest HESCO office.
In a related incident, nine people lost their lives as a dust storm wreaked havoc in Nawabshah. The storm caused widespread damage to infrastructure, including power supply systems, in several parts of Sindh.
