Representatives of the sports community recently met with Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) Managing Director Tariq Ali Nizamani to commend the organization's efforts in maintaining cleanliness and upgrading facilities around sports grounds in Karachi. The delegation included sports patron Shahid Mahmood Khan, Samama Group Director Humayun Saleem, KBBA President Ghulam Abbas Jamal Ch, and Director Sports of Commissioner Karachi Ghulam Muhammad Khan.
Praise for Sanitation Work
During the meeting, Shahid Khan praised Tariq Nizamani and the SSWMB staff for their dedication to sanitation work across various areas of the city, particularly around sports venues. He noted that their efforts had significantly improved conditions for athletes and sports activities.
Cooperation for Eid-ul-Adha
The delegation also assured full cooperation with the SSWMB during Eid-ul-Adha operations. Sports organizations and players would assist authorities by providing timely information regarding the disposal and transportation of sacrificial waste.
Shahid Khan expressed gratitude to the Sindh Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Local Government Minister, Mayor of Karachi, and Commissioner of Karachi for their continued support of the SSWMB and its public service initiatives.
Traditional Gift
At the conclusion of the meeting, Shahid Mahmood Khan presented Tariq Nizamani with a traditional Sindhi Ajrak as a token of appreciation.
