Chairperson of the Carpet Training Institute (CTI), Ejaz-ur-Rehman, announced that Pakistan’s International Hand-Knitted Carpet Exhibition, scheduled for October 6 to 8 in Lahore, will significantly boost the country’s exports while promoting economic growth, preserving cultural heritage, and strengthening trade relations with international markets.

Addressing a meeting of manufacturers and exporters organized in connection with the forthcoming exhibition, Ejaz-ur-Rehman stated that such international events provide an ideal platform for expanding exports, exploring new markets, and establishing direct business links with buyers worldwide. He expressed confidence that the exhibition would generate export agreements worth millions of dollars, greatly benefiting Pakistan’s carpet industry.

Ejaz-ur-Rehman further stated that the exhibition organized by the Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) enjoys a unique distinction, having been held successfully for the past 42 consecutive years, making it a matter of great pride for the Association and the country’s carpet sector.
