Final-term assessment examinations have commenced at non-formal elementary education centres across Lodhran district, mirroring the schedule in other parts of Punjab. District Education Officer (Literacy), Dr Shazia Noreen, conducted surprise visits to several middle-level non-formal elementary education centres to oversee the evaluation process.
Surprise Inspections Ensure Compliance
During her visits, Dr Noreen reviewed the examination arrangements and directed field staff to ensure that assessments are conducted strictly according to the guidelines issued by the head office. She emphasized the need for complete transparency, discipline, and impartiality throughout the examination period.
Dr Noreen stated that the Literacy department is committed to providing learners with a fair, organized, and quality examination environment. She appreciated the dedication of field staff and teachers involved in this crucial stage of the annual academic evaluation.
Call for Professionalism and Honesty
The DEO urged all personnel to perform their responsibilities with honesty, professionalism, and a strong sense of duty. Her remarks underscored the importance of maintaining integrity in the examination process to ensure that students receive the assessment they deserve.
The surprise visits are part of a broader effort to uphold standards in non-formal education, which serves as a vital pathway for out-of-school children and adults in the district.
