Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has identified modern education and technological skills as the essential tools for overcoming the pressing economic challenges facing the province. He asserted that empowering the youth with contemporary knowledge is fundamental for development and global competitiveness.

Convocation Highlights Commitment to Modern Learning

The Governor shared these views while presiding as the chief guest at the annual convocation of CECOS University Peshawar on Monday. The event saw the participation of university leadership, including President Engineer Muhammad Tanveer Javed and Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohsin Khan, alongside faculty, proud parents, and the graduating class.

During the ceremony, Governor Kundi personally distributed degrees to 365 graduates and conferred gold medals upon 16 students for their exceptional academic achievements. He extended his congratulations to the students, their families, and the educators, framing education not just as a path to personal success but as a critical national responsibility.

Investing in Youth for Provincial Prosperity

In his address, Governor Kundi urged the new graduates to leverage their hard-earned expertise for the betterment of their families, society, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at large. He highlighted the university's significant role in delivering quality, technology-aligned education that meets current demands, noting it has carved a distinct niche in Pakistan's private education sector.

A particularly encouraging aspect for the Governor was the notable participation of female students in the convocation. He termed their strong presence a positive indicator for progressive social development in the region.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohsin Khan welcomed the Governor and provided an overview of the institution's academic milestones and ongoing progress, reinforcing the university's commitment to fostering a skilled and knowledgeable generation ready to contribute to Pakistan's future.
