FAISALABAD: In a decisive move to overhaul the public education system, Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar has issued urgent directives to accelerate the improvement of standards in government schools across the division. This initiative is a direct implementation of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's vision for ensuring quality public schools, purposeful education, and effective training for students.

One-Week Deadline for Comprehensive Plan

Presiding over a crucial meeting of the Schools Management Committee, Commissioner Anwar set a strict timeline for action. He demanded the submission of a comprehensive reform plan within one week, emphasizing that transforming the quality of education from good to excellent is the government's topmost priority. He stressed that timely execution of all education projects is absolutely imperative to meet the set objectives.

Expansion and New Initiatives

The commissioner outlined specific measures to be taken immediately. He directed authorities to initiate steps for the expansion of public schools throughout the Faisalabad division to increase access. Furthermore, he called for expediting progress on the establishment of a new Danish Public School (DPS) at Chak Jhumra, which will be located along the G.O.R. III Canal Expressway. This project is seen as a key part of the infrastructure development for education.
