Veteran actor Bushra Ansari has spoken out against manipulative men who remarry for material gain, drawing from her daughter's personal experience and appearing to reference her former son-in-law. Speaking on her YouTube channel, Bushra began by discussing manipulative men in the context of her daughter's divorce.
Daughter's Experience with Manipulation
Bushra revealed that her daughter was deceived by a man who appeared well-mannered and spoke good English. "My daughter was fooled, and now others will be too. You cannot tell because of their well-natured, good spoken English. Now someone else will go through this," she said. She emphasized that such men often hide their true intentions behind a polished exterior.
Educated Yet Shameless Men
The actor shared that she has encountered educated yet "shameless" men who go on to have successful second marriages due to their cunning nature. "I have seen educated yet shameless men whose second marriages have become successful because of their clever and cunning nature. They speak sweetly, have good English, and appear well-mannered, but other women do not know how dirty their mindsets are or what they have done previously in their lives," she stated.
Material Interests Drive Men
Bushra argued that regardless of social class or education, some men are primarily motivated by material interests. "Men are like this, no matter from what class they come from and what they do," she said, adding, "They don't have any major issues or genuine differences with their wives in previous marriages; they simply move on for material benefits." She noted that she has witnessed such behavior within her own family.
Warning to Educated Women
Expressing surprise that educated men still manage to find educated women, Bushra said, "We have witnessed it with our own eyes. I'm surprised that such educated men still manage to find educated women." She revealed that her former son-in-law has married a highly educated woman who is ready to support him financially, despite warnings. "We have heard that he has married a highly educated woman who is ready to give everything to him, regardless of the fact that we warned her. She wants to destroy herself for him and support him financially," Bushra said, adding, "Let it be if she wants to be his breadwinner."
Concerns Over Harassment and Abuse
Bushra also expressed concern over disturbing incidents in Pakistan, including harassment and abuse. "They tell us to not go to certain places or wear certain clothing, but women regardless of what they wear are harassed," she said. "The world is weird. There are very creepy men in the world from all classes, whether they have economic reasons, social pressure, men's minds have gone mad and only God can help them," she added, emphasizing that one should be grateful if their children are safe.
Call for Harsher Punishments
Concluding her remarks, Bushra called for harsher punishments for perpetrators of violence against women, particularly acid attacks. "We should make these men suffer. We should feed them to wild animals, especially those who throw acid on women," she said, adding, "This is even worse than killing someone because every time you see your reflection, you feel like you die over and over again." The actor urged the government to review its laws on capital punishment and consider stricter penalties for such crimes.
