Beauty queen and former pageant contestant Imelda Schweighart has revealed that she experienced a pregnancy loss while competing in the Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars pageant, sharing the emotional news in a heartfelt social media post.

Schweighart, 30, represented the Philippines in the inaugural all-star edition of the competition, which concluded on 30 May. In an Instagram post published on 3 June, she thanked her partner, Rafael Thibault, for supporting her throughout the pageant and helping care for her eight-year-old son, Noah, during a difficult period.

Addressing the loss directly, Schweighart wrote that she was “recovering from something big right now” and revealed that “losing our baby might have been the worse out of joining this competition”. She added that she remained hopeful about the future, saying that “in God's timing we will have one again.”
