Taylor Swift surprised attendees at Travis Kelce's Tight End University event in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday evening, joining country music star Lainey Wilson for a live performance that closed the annual NFL gathering.
Surprise Performance at The Pinnacle
The 14-time Grammy winner took the stage during the Tight Ends and Friends Concert at The Pinnacle, wearing a custom black and silver strapless fringe dress with Aquazzura heels and her Kindred Lubeck engagement ring. The event, presented by Sports Illustrated and Reese's, serves as the opening celebration for Tight End University, a three-day training camp founded in 2021 by NFL players Travis Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen.
Swift and Wilson delighted the crowd with a duet of Swift's hit song "Love Story," prompting loud cheers as fans sang along. Introducing the performance, Swift revealed that the song choice came from a "very special tight end."
Playful Banter and Engagement Ring Moment
During the set, Swift joked that the tight end "is named George Kittle," drawing laughter and applause. At one point while singing the lyrics, "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring," Swift raised her left hand to flaunt her own engagement ring, sparking cheers from the audience.
The concert also featured surprise appearances from country duo Dan and Shay, as well as singer Chase Rice. During his performance earlier in the evening, Rice appeared to write "13" on his hand and described himself as a "Swiftie."
Second Consecutive Year Appearance
This marks the second consecutive year that Swift has appeared at the event. In 2025, she surprised guests at the opening night afterparty at Nashville's Brooklyn Bowl with an acoustic rendition of "Shake It Off." The appearance added another high-profile moment to the growing annual NFL summit.
