The 40th death anniversary of renowned Pakistani film, television actor, and comedian Rafi Khawar, popularly known as 'Nanha', is being observed today, Tuesday.
Rafi Khawar began his acting career in 1966 with the Urdu film Watan ka Sipahi. Over the years, he appeared in numerous films and television dramas, including the iconic comedy series Alif Noon.
His talent earned him two prestigious Nigar Awards: one for Best Supporting Actor in 1977 and another for Best Comedian in 1983. He passed away on this day in 1986 in Lahore.
