Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has paid glowing tribute to Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on his 27th martyrdom anniversary, describing him as a symbol of unmatched courage, valor, and sacrifice in Pakistan’s military history. In his message shared on social media, Sarfraz Bugti said that despite extremely unfavorable conditions during the Kargil conflict, Captain Sher Khan demonstrated extraordinary bravery, determination, and professional skill.
Sacrifice a Guiding Light for Nation and Armed Forces
He noted that Sher Khan’s sacrifice represents the highest example of loyalty, duty, and selflessness and will forever remain a guiding light for the nation and the armed forces. Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that defending the homeland is a sacred duty of every Pakistani, and it is because of the sacrifices of martyrs that Pakistan today stands with dignity, peace, and sovereignty on the world map.

He added that the nation will always hold its martyrs in the highest esteem, recognizing their sacrifices as eternal symbols of patriotism, courage, and resilience for future generations. The Chief Minister said that Sher Khan’s martyrdom reminds us that freedom and sovereignty are never free but are earned through the blood of brave sons of the soil.
