Ishaq Dar Departs for Cairo for R-4 Meeting with Saudi, Turkiye, Egypt FMs

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar departed for Cairo on Saturday to participate in a meeting of foreign ministers from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Egypt. The gathering will address key regional and international matters.

R-4 Group Meeting

According to the Foreign Office, Dar will represent Pakistan at the fourth session of the R-4 Group foreign ministers. Participants are expected to exchange views on issues of common interest, regional stability, and major global developments.

Bilateral Meetings

During the visit, the deputy prime minister is also scheduled to hold separate meetings with his counterparts from the participating countries. These talks aim to explore ways of strengthening diplomatic ties and expanding economic cooperation.

The meeting is being held as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Egypt continue efforts to improve coordination on regional security matters and other important geopolitical challenges facing the Middle East and the wider region.
