The Ministry of Religious Affairs has coordinated with Saudi authorities to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey for the pilgrims. Pilgrims have been provided with comprehensive guidance on travel requirements, health protocols, and accommodation arrangements.

Saudi officials have extended full cooperation, streamlining immigration procedures and providing assistance at airports. The Pakistani embassy in Riyadh and consulate in Jeddah are monitoring the arrival process and addressing any issues faced by pilgrims. Many pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the arrangements, praising the efforts of both governments. Muhammad Aslam, a pilgrim from Lahore, said, "The process was very smooth. We received clear instructions and support from the moment we left home until we reached our accommodation in Makkah."
Hajj 2026: Key Details
This year, Pakistan has been allocated a quota of 179,210 pilgrims under the bilateral agreement with Saudi Arabia. The first batch departed on April 25, and arrivals will continue until mid-May. The government has also introduced a new mobile app to help pilgrims navigate holy sites and access essential services.
Health officials have vaccinated all pilgrims against meningitis and provided awareness about heatstroke prevention, as temperatures in Saudi Arabia are expected to exceed 45 degrees Celsius during Hajj.
